1) Echos - Haunt
This we had researched as we liked the sound of it, but found the drop/ chorus hard to imagine in a music video so we concentrated on other features. The song had a slow feature about it which caused us to pick this as one of our 3 choices, we thought that the editing wouldn't challenge us as the other songs we have lined up and it would still be powerful in getting our intention across.
History about the band: they first released their song in 2014 called 'ghost' and that got up to 200,000 views and kick started their career. The band consisted of two a woman and a male, both vocal artists. The genre bis a dark electronic and is usually uploaded to the 'Mrsuicidesheep' youtube account to where their songs gain thousands upon thousands of views. We looked into their social media connections and found that they have Soundcloud, Facebook, twitter and Instagram. They do not have their own website which means less information for us to conclude too

We came across this song which was excellent and the type of genre we were aiming for,we thought it was a bit depressing at some bits of the music video, but we continued to look at the artist because this is the type of genre we were aiming to make a music video of.However we wouldn't pick this song due to the lack of ideas we gain from it and how the genre isn't seen as completely interesting as we'd thought it to be.
2) Crystal Castles - Kept
This is a song we researched and listened too and highly approved of. We highly considered this song because it has a very happy tone, even though a more slow tone would be easier to edit as such this would challenge us very much but if we get it spot on this could give us a good grade for us to take into the exam. After listening through a couple of times we gained plenty of music video ideas and how we can entertain the ones watching it. It is more of a dance beat and is different but Sean and I believe we can interpret the song well and create a good music video.
However one fault is that lyrics aren't very strong so we must try and fit and create as much as we can , crystal castles have a website, they have media links such as Facebook, snapchat,Soundcloud, Instagram and twitter, their URL is : http://www.crystalcastles.com
History: Formed in 2006 with two members known as Ethan Kath and Alice Glass. They released many singles until they created EPs and albums, they have plenty of photos and history for us to build up upon, they aren't well known as they produce a electropunk which wasn't the genre we were aiming for but for this particular song there were plenty ideas erupting inside our brains so we believe this could do us well.

3) Health - Euphoria
This song is better than the crystal castles one due to there being more lyrics. The lyrics can create a context, this song is the same genre as Kept by Crystal castles but has more lyrics to which we can analyse and research for our music video. We thought that the beat would go well with the editing and with there being lyrics it also gives us a chance to expand upon our editing capability and learn a whole lot more. It has a good name and has good history in which we can develop into with magazine and the digipack section on this blog.
The genre they play in is very wide and experimental whoever like the Crustal Castle's song Kept, this is also electropunk/rock which is why we want to continue with this type of theme

Your research into potential artist / album / song choices does not make it clear enough WHO these artists are. You should have clearly identified them - take a look at Becca or Loris' blogs to see what I mean by this.
