Planning: Costume And Props

For our costumes and props we are going to get our actor to provide us a scruffy appearance , so for example,  we want to give our character a scruffy parka jacket which symbolises his financial problems, we also want to co-ordinate this with drug use. We are also going to give our actor ripped blue jeans, a pair of black boots and a shirt of the actor's choice. To add to the scruffiness we want our actor to grow tiny bit of a stubble(facial hair) to provide that certaincy of looking like he's been living rough.

We are going to use animal head masks to increase the weirdness within the music video.



The extra volunteers will be wearing the animal tasks (Explained in our casting blog)  and they will be there simply just glaring and are the effect of when Max (Our actor takes the pill) This goes along with Sven E Carlson's theory as the audience sees the effect of the drug.

Max will be then wearing his own red doc martin boots, because we believe it conveys the personality of our character e.g. rugged clothes.


Again, continuing with that 'scruffy' look we concluded he should wear ripped jeans.



Max will be wearing a shirt of his choice as we have no preference on that, however we would prefer he would wear white:

Max will then be wearing an old green parka  which symbolise fully his scruffiness, he can wear whatever shirt he likes as it will not be seen in the video therefore using this coat concludes our scruffy character.



However the image above is not the full illustration, he will be wearing a dark blue version.
